SSC CGL 2023 is a highly competitive exam that witnesses a massive registration of over 10 lakh aspirants every year. The recruitment process, which previously consisted of four stages, has now been revised to two stages only.

SSC CGL 2023 : Application Details

• Applications must be submitted online at https://ssc.nic.in
• Follow instructions in Annexure-III and Annexure-IV
• Upload a colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB)
• Photograph must be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) and not more than three months old
• Photograph should be without cap and spectacles and the face should be clearly visible
• Check that the photograph is uploaded as per the given instructions
• Last date and time for submission of online applications is 03-05-2023
• Submit the application much before the closing date to avoid disconnection or failure to login
• Preview/Print the application before submission to ensure correct details are filled in each field.

SSC CGL 2023 : Application Fee

• Application fee is Rs. 100/-
• Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from paying the fee
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using credit/debit cards
• Fee can also be paid in cash at SBI branches by generating SBI Challan
• The last date to pay the fee online is 04-05-2023
• Candidates who wish to pay through cash can do so at SBI branches until 05-05-2023 provided they have generated the challan before 04-05-2023
• Candidates who have paid the fee should ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC
• Incomplete applications due to non-receipt of fee will be rejected, and no requests for consideration will be entertained
• The fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

SSC CGL 2023 : Window for Application Form Correction [07-05-2023 to 08-05-2023]

• A 2-day window for correction/modification of online application data will be provided.
• A candidate can re-submit his modified/corrected application two times.
• Correction charges of ₹200 and ₹500 will be charged for the first and second corrections respectively.
• The latest modified/corrected application will be considered valid.
• Correction charges can only be paid online through various modes.
• No correction/modification will be allowed after the correction window closes.
• No requests for correction/modification will be entertained after the deadline.

How to apply online for SSC CGL 2023 Notification?

The process of filling online application for the examination is divided into two parts: One-Time Registration and Filling of online Application for the Examination. Here are the details for Part-I (One-Time Registration):

• Before filling up the online ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Application Form’, carefully read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination.

• The SSC CGL 2023 Syllabus for different stages of examination has been released by the commission.
• The examination will have questions from 4 main subjects:
