1) NITI Aayog released the Task Force report titled “Production and Promotion of Organic and Bio fertilisers with Special Focus on Improving Economic Viability of Gaushalas”.

2) The government appointed Siddhartha Mohanty, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, as the interim Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

3) Indian Navy’s indigenously built guided missile frigate, INS Sahyadri participated in a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with French Navy (FN) ships FS Dixmude and FS La Fayette in the Arabian Sea.

7) ISRO’s Hyderabad-based National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) released “Landslide Atlas” report for the first time.

➨Instituted by the KK Birla Foundation in 1991, the annual Vyas Samman is given to an outstanding Hindi literary work by an Indian citizen published during the last 10 years.

10) Colonel Geeta Rana of Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers has become the first woman officer to take over command of an Independent Field Workshop in a forward and remote location in Eastern Ladakh.

11) Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated world’s longest railway platform in Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka.
➨With the inauguration of the Hubballi railway platform, the city has registered its name in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest railway platform in the World at Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji station.
