The Ministry of Defense and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the use of millets and healthy eating practices among the Armed Forces. Justice Alexander Thomas has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, following the notification issued by the Central Government. He replaces Chief Justice SV Bhatti, who was transferred to the Supreme Court. Justice Alexander Thomas was initially appointed as an additional judge of the Kerala High Court on January 23, 2014, and later became a permanent judge on March 10, 2016.
